Overview

Most people with Copilot use a small fraction of what it can do. They type a question, get an average answer, and decide it isn’t worth the effort. This course changes that.

Over one day, delegates learn a structured way to prompt Copilot, then use it on real tasks in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Notebooks. Before they leave, every delegate builds and tests their own Copilot agent for a task they actually do.

The day is practical. Delegates work on their own laptops throughout, with exercises based on everyday workplace scenarios. It works equally well for people who have never used AI and for those who have experimented and want better results.

Suitable for both PC/Windows and Mac users.

What you'll learn

Licence requirements

This course is designed for organisations with Microsoft 365 Copilot licences, or with Copilot Chat where agent creation and integration with the Microsoft 365 apps are enabled. Content on Work IQ applies to Microsoft 365 Copilot Premium licence holders.

What delegates will be able to do:

  • Write clear, effective prompts using the DRAFT framework, and get consistently better results
  • Use Copilot to summarise, draft, analyse and present across the Microsoft 365 apps they use every day
  • Ask questions of Excel data in plain English and turn it into summaries, formulas and visuals
  • Build, configure and test a Copilot agent for a repeatable task
  • Use Copilot safely: understanding what it can access, how to check its output, and where the risks are
