One of the founders of the The Hub Events. Emma worked in project management in the public sector before moving into events and management training in 2004. She loves working with our incredible team of trainers to develop new courses and is always on the look out for the next big thing in leadership training.

Gemma Jackson
Head of Customer Experience

Gemma leads our customer experience with a calm head, quick thinking, and a deep commitment to making every interaction count. From first enquiries to in-house bookings, she ensures our customers receive clear, friendly, and efficient support every step of the way. With a strong understanding of every corner of the business, she works closely with the whole team to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes — often juggling multiple priorities with effortless precision. Our customers trust her, our team relies on her, and quite honestly, we’d be lost without her.

Head of Business Development

Caroline is passionate about helping people thrive at work. As Head of Business Development at The Hub Events, she works closely with organisations to design training solutions that improve performance, boost employee engagement, and create happier, more productive teams.

With a background as a practising solicitor turned business development leader, Caroline brings over 15 years’ experience in client relationship management, professional development, and partnership building. She has a proven track record of growing networks, strengthening client relationships, and aligning training programmes with business goals.

Alongside her role at The Hub Events, Caroline is an Ambassador for Women in the Law UK and an active member of several professional networks. She is a regular speaker at universities and industry events on topics such as business development, networking, and leadership.

Caroline believes that learning unlocks potential – for individuals, teams, and organisations – and she is dedicated to ensuring every client she works with has the tools and confidence to succeed.

Finance Manager

Our fabulous finance manager, Vicki is a finance whizz with an amazing eye for detail, a great work ethic and a huge heart.

Vicki processes invoices, handles incoming payments and looks after all aspects of credit control. She is always on hand to help with finance queries.  She’s also a little camera shy…

Events Administrator Extraordinaire! Rebecca supports all of our event admin from the initial booking to circulating any post course material. Super efficient, really positive and completely unflappable, she is always there to support the rest of our team of Hubbies with her amazing organisational skills.

Christine Macdonald
Christine Macdonald
Founder

One of the founders of The Hub Events. Christine started her career in sales and marketing moving into learning and development over 15 years ago. She’s got a keen interest in employee engagement, performance management and learning evaluation.

Christine retired in July 2022 but is still a very important part of The Hub.
