Terms & Conditions

Submitting the booking form secures your place and commits you to pay for the attendance or cancellation fee.

Training courses and conferences

Hub Events Limited reserves the right to make changes to its events, including information relating to content, timings, date and venue.

If Hub Events Ltd has to cancel a workshop or conference you will be offered a place on an equivalent event within a 12 month period. If this isn’t suitable for you a full refund will be issued. In the event that Hub Events cancels an event and an alternative cannot be provided, we will refund in full any payment received in respect of that course.

Payment

Payment is due on receipt of an invoice and full payment must be received before attendance. Once a booking is made, please be advised that cancellations at any stage are subject to a charge.
Our payment terms are 30 days from the invoice date, or before the course date, whichever is sooner.

You can pay online by credit card either via the website at the time of booking or by using the secure payment link that is provided in the invoice.

Cheques should be made payable to The Hub Events Ltd.

Personal bookings will only be confirmed on receipt of payment.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking please do so in writing by emailing info@thehubevents.com.

Cancellation charges are:

  • 28 or more days before a course = 30% of the course fee
  • 14-27 days before a course = 50% of the course fee
  • 1 - 13 days before a course = 100% of the course fee

A substitute delegate may attend at no extra charge. Cancellation charges apply for all cancellations including those due to illness.

Transfers

If you need to transfer your booking please email info@thehubevents.com. When you transfer to another course you will be charged the cancellation fee plus the cost of the new course. The original terms and conditions, including cancellation charges, still apply when you transfer to a new course.

Non-attendance which does not meet these transfer requirements is considered a cancellation and cancellation charges will be incurred. Please note non attendance due to illness, difficulty in transport arrangements, weather conditions and any other reason will incur the same cancellation charge.

Online courses

Our online courses are delivered on Zoom. Please check with your IT team before booking if you think you might not have permission to use Zoom. You will not be eligible for a refund if you book and later find out you are unable to attend because of your organisation's policy regarding Zoom.

Covid 19 and travel disruption

Please note, if you have booked face to face course, this will take place in a Covid safe venue, with reduced delegate numbers and room capacities. If the Covid situation changes nearer the time of the event we may need to move the course online. Similarly, if there are public transport strikes on the day of a face to face course, we will where possible give delegates the option to dial in remotely if this isn't possible, the course will be run completely online. It will take place on the same date, at the same times. Please note the usual cancellation terms will apply
