It’s that time of year again! We’re wrapping up 2025 and looking forward to a bright year ahead. Here’s our rundown of the year, including some record-breaking moments and a number of firsts for us here at The Hub Events.
Here’s what we’ve been up to!
We delivered over 250 courses
That’s almost a course for every business day of the year, maintaining over 2,000 hours of training a year. This year, our most popular courses have been…
- 26 New Manager Bootcamps
- 36 courses designed especially for women, including Women Advancing In Leadership, Confidence to Succeed- Assertiveness for Women and Empowering Women in Management
- 24 Finance courses, including Finance for Non-Financial Directors, and the two-day Finance for Non-Finance Managers course.
- 26 courses helping our delegates with challenging circumstances, like Building Your Resilience, Courageous Conversations and Dealing with Difficult People and Challenging Behaviour at Work.
- 24 Personal and Executive Assistant courses, such as Business Writing Excellence for EAs/PAs, The Exceptional Assistant and Meetings and Minute Taking.
We also delivered some new courses for the first time this year, like Essentialist Leadership: Cultivating a mindset of effortless simplicity and Demystifying AI: Your Business Advantage. And as if that’s not enough, we’re always adding more to our portfolio. Keep an eye out for The Power of Cash Flow: Strategies for Financial Strength and Neurodiversity at Work coming early 2026!
Of these, 164 were open courses
Our open courses are a fantastic way to not only learn new skills from expert trainers, but also learn from other people in the session with you. Learning alongside people working in different sectors and roles from yourself is a wonderful way to get some new perspectives on the challenges you’re facing, and work together to overcome them!
And 94 were delivered in-house
In-house courses give you the opportunity for the training to come to you, whether that’s in your organisation’s premises, offsite or as part of a team day or away day for your staff. This year, we’ve added insightful case studies to our website, which detail how our in-house training has helped some of the organisations we’ve worked with.
16 of which were tailor-made
One of the biggest benefits of opting for an in-house course is that our trainers can design the course to meet the exact and unique challenges your organisations and teams are facing. Your trainer will research your business, talk to your people and tailor the sessions to your needs. They’ll learn about your organisation and even the nuances and language of your business, so your learning will hit the ground running and fit perfectly with your goals and culture!
We hosted 74 online courses
Including a record-breaking attendance in May, delivering training during a conference attended by over 100 people! This is a great example of the power of online training, enabling larger numbers of people to access learning without having to travel to a location that might not be convenient. And our virtual classroom sessions are still fully interactive courses. Attendees take part in group work in breakout rooms, have the opportunity to ask questions and contribute, and receive personalised feedback just like you would in a face-to-face session.
From Swindon to Abu Dhabi…
We delivered courses in 26 different locations globally. This year, we’ve reached lots of new locations that we’ve never been to before. Our trainers have travelled the length and breadth of the country, as well as delivering courses online to delegates on the East and West coasts of the USA and delegates in the UAE.
We trained over 2500 delegates
That’s an average of 208 people each and every month of the year. And with an average of 10 delegates on each in-house course, we were able to train around 940 people at a time and place that worked perfectly for them.
Working with international companies across a range of industries and sectors
We’re proud to be able to deliver training that helps so many people, whatever area of work they might be in; in fact, we’ve worked with over 15 different sectors this year alone, including:
- Entertainment
- Leisure
- Pharmaceuticals
- Business and finance
- Banking
- Housing
- Education
- Travel
- Food and Beverage
- Arts
- Healthcare
- Logistics
- Engineering
- Marketing
- Tech, IT and AI
- Energy
We’ve hit a new milestone, too
This year, we’re over the moon that our course review rating has grown from 4.8 to 4.9 out of 5 stars on Trustpilot. We’ve got so much fantastic feedback from you and have been lucky enough to receive over 2,500 five-star reviews to date.
We’re proud, humbled and incredibly grateful to all the people who have taken the time to provide reviews and feedback to us. It’s wonderful to hear how our courses have made a practical difference to people’s days at work. We read every review and take comments on board to help us get even better at what we do. And we always share the comments you make with our amazing trainers!
Last but certainly not least, this year we’ve also put in even more work behind the scenes to update and improve our website, making it even easier for you to find the perfect course.
We’re really looking forward to what 2026 will bring to all of us, providing new courses, meeting new people and delivering training to more delegates in even more locations.
